active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-time physical
therapist position is available in the Sanford, FL area supporting
multiple schools within a nearby county school district. This
on-site role requires providing physical therapy services to a
caseload of approximately 100 students across a rotating schedule
of elementary and charter schools. The assignment is a contract
position expected to run through late May 2026 with potential
scheduling variations. Key Responsibilities: Deliver physical
therapy interventions to school-aged children in accordance with
individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with educators,
families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student functional
goals. Manage caseload effectively across multiple school sites,
maintaining documentation and compliance with district policies.
Participate in district onboarding procedures and credentialing to
obtain required access and badges. Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Physical Therapist license. Experience working in
school-based therapy settings is highly desired but not mandatory.
Ability to manage varied schedules and caseload across several
schools. Strong communication and organizational skills. Assignment
Details: Location: Sanford, FL (supporting schools primarily in
Tavares and surrounding communities). Duration: ASAP start through
May 29, 2026. Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (8 hours plus
30 minutes unpaid break). Caseload: Approximately 100 students
district-wide. Support from a team of two physical therapists at
each school. Required participation in prescreen interviews for
