Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to
serve students in a K-12 school setting during the 2020-2021
academic year. This role supports speech and language development
across a diverse student population and offers flexibility in
caseload preference. The position spans from August through May,
with locations available in Helen, Cleveland, and Cornelia,
Georgia. Key Qualifications and Desired Experience: ASHA
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates
with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are also encouraged to apply
Experience working within school environments serving K-12 students
Skills in pediatric speech therapy and teletherapy are advantageous
Ability to manage caseloads involving speech-language services
tailored to individual student needs Strong communication and
collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families,
and multidisciplinary teams Responsibilities: Conduct speech and
language assessments and develop individualized education plans
(IEPs) Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and
language impairments Monitor student progress and adjust
interventions accordingly Maintain compliance with school policies
and documentation standards Participate in team meetings and parent
conferences as needed Benefits and Perks: Competitive compensation:
$66/hour for SLPs with CCC and $64/hour for SLPs with CFY Contract
duration aligning with the school calendar (August to May)
