Job Description:

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is actively seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab on a PRN (as needed) basis. This position requires a dedicated professional who is committed to providing exceptional patient care, utilizing cutting-edge technology and methodologies to support diagnostic and interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be adept at managing multiple patient needs in a critical care setting. Administer care for heart patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab. Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and report any anomalies. Prepare patients for cardiac procedures, including explaining treatments and addressing concerns. Operate and maintain all cath lab equipment and instrumentation. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, as well as state, federal, and accrediting agency regulations. Proficiency in operating cardiac monitor Understanding of cardiac medications and their effects Ability to respond swiftly and accurately to medical emergencies Excellent patient care and interpersonal communication skills Critical thinking and problem-solving capacities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida BLS Certification ACLS Certification required Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing (CVN) is a plus
