In this role, you will handle patient care in outpatient surgical settings, providing both preoperative and postoperative nursing services. Assess patient condition before surgery and prepare them mentally and physically for the procedure. Monitor patients' vital signs and maintain accurate records throughout surgical procedures. Administer medications, fluids, and treatments efficiently under the surgeon’s directive. Provide postoperative care and thorough assessments to ensure recovery. Educate patients and their families on post-hospital care, emphasizing wound care, diet, and follow-up checkups. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
