HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN Patient Flow Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The RN Patient Flow Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring efficient patient flow throughout the hospital. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of healthcare operational dynamics, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment. Coordinate the admission, transfer, and discharge processes to ensure efficient patient flow Liaise between different departments to optimize bed capacity and resource utilization Monitor patient flow real-time data and provide reports to senior management Participate in daily bed management meetings to discuss placement issues and delays Implement strategies to reduce wait times and improve patient satisfaction Ensure compliance with hospital policies and federal, state, and local regulations concerning healthcare Assist in the training and support of new staff and continual education efforts Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle high-stress situations professionally Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards Proficiency in hospital management systems and Microsoft Office Suite Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
