Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our pool of professionals at our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing personalized rehabilitation therapy to patients recovering from serious injuries or illnesses, helping them regain their independence. Our Physical Therapists play a crucial role in our patients' journeys to recovery, designing and executing personalized treatment plans in a supportive and dynamic environment. Assess patient condition to diagnose physical ailments and develop tailored treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions such as muscle re-education, gait training, and pain management. Educate patients and families on treatments, recovery techniques, and assistive device use. Document patient progress and adapt treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate holistic care. Provide consultations and clinical recommendations to nursing and medical staff. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in creating and implementing effective treatment plans. Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic, changing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapist license. Certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) is preferred.
