HCA Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This role is ideal for a compassionate healthcare professional eager to deliver therapeutic physical therapy services to patients in their homes. Working as part of a dynamic healthcare team, you will implement high-quality physical therapy programs developed by physical therapists, helping patients regain or improve their mobility and manage pain following an illness, surgery, or injury. Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of patient therapy plans. Provide direct therapy services to improve patient mobility and reduce pain according to the plan of care. Document patient progress and therapy outcomes. Educate patients and families on home exercises and pain management techniques. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as with professional standards. Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning. Proven ability to follow physical therapy guidelines and instructions Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently in home settings Excellent organizational and time-management skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice Valid driver's license and dependable transportation CPR certified
