Program (Gainesville, FL)Rate Of Pay: Unlicensed $42,840.00 -
Licensed $50,000 - $66,300.60- Exempt*Position Summary:*This is a
highly responsible position in which the candidate will work as
part of a dual diagnosis team of professionals providing both
mental health and substance abuse treatment in a residential
facility. The candidate must have the knowledge, skill and ability
to complete intake, orientation, bio-psychosocial assessments,
treatment plans, and work with a myriad of personalities while
working in a highly structured residential facility. The candidate
must also have the ability to present psychosocial educational
groups, process groups and individual sessions to adult consumers
in pre-contemplation, contemplation and stage one of
recovery.*Minimum Qualifications:*Masters degree in psychology,
counseling, social work or other human service field from an
accredited university. The candidates degree must have prepared
him/her for licensure in the State of Florida.Preference is given
to candidates with experience counseling substance abuse or dual
diagnosed clients.*Essential Duties/Responsibilities:*1. Complete
bio-psychosocial assessment of assigned clients within 24 hour of
admission.2. Counsel substance abuse and dual diagnosis clients,
individually and in group sessions, to assist in overcoming
dependencies, adjusting to life, and making changes.3. Complete and
maintain accurate records and reports regarding the patients'
histories and progress, services provided, and other required
information.4. Develop individualized client treatment plans within
7 days of admission, based on research, clinical experience, and
client histories.5. Review and evaluate clients' progress in
relation to measurable goals and objectives described in treatment
and care plans.6. Interview clients, review records, and confer
with other professionals in order to evaluate individuals' mental
and physical condition, and to determine their suitability for
participation in a specific program.7. Intervene as advocate for
clients or patients in order to resolve emergency problems in
crisis situations.*Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:*_Specific
