HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Charge Nurse to lead our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This critical role is centered at our state-of-the-art facility in Brandon, Florida, where we are committed to providing exceptional care through our comprehensive healthcare services. As a Charge Nurse in our CVICU, you will oversee the nursing staff and ensure the highest quality of care is delivered to our patients with severe cardiac conditions. This position requires advanced clinical skills, leadership capabilities, and a passion for patient care in a high-stakes environment. Manage and supervise the nursing staff within the CVICU. Ensure adherence to hospital policies and health regulations. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Provide mentorship and training to new nurses and staff. Maintain a safe and efficient working environment. Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes. Monitor patient care and intervene as necessary to ensure high standards. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in high-acuity care environments Adept at using medical software and patient management systems Ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing (CVRN) is preferred Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
