HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Nurse Director for our Cardiac Medical Surgical Unit. This pivotal role assumes full responsibility for pioneering the development and implementation of cohesive patient care programs tailored to cardiac medical-surgical patients. The Nurse Director will lead initiatives to advance clinical practices, enhance patient satisfaction, achieve operational objectives, and deliver superior health outcomes in a state-of-the-art healthcare environment. Oversee daily operations of the Cardiac Medical Surgical Unit. Develop and implement nursing care plans in line with the latest cardiac care protocols. Manage unit staffing, including recruitment, supervision, and professional development of nursing staff. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while promoting patient safety and quality care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care approaches. Lead performance improvement efforts to enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Manage budgeting and resource allocation efficiently to optimize operational efficiency. Serve as a mentor and role model, promoting a culture of excellence in nursing care. Strong leadership and organizational skills Exceptional knowledge in cardiac care and medical-surgical nursing Proficiency in healthcare management software and patient care systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to swiftly make decisions and solve problems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) certification preferred BLS/ACLS certification
